Classroom Supervisor (Full Time)

About the role
This large and modern secondary school based in the Sefton area is seeking to appoint a Classroom Supervisor to work across KS3 & KS4. This is a full-time role starting in September and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year in July 2024. The role will require the successful candidate to manage the classroom in the Teacher’s absence. The class Teacher will provide all the materials and tools needed for the lesson ready for the Classroom Supervisor to deliver. Although not actively teaching, it is important for a Classroom Supervisor to have the skills and confidence needed to keep the class motivated and focused so they can work on the activities set and prepared for them. The role requires you to support pupils as they work through the lesson and to understand how to help them to complete tasks, where needed.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Classroom Supervisor you will:
- Experience of working with secondary school aged children
- A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
